The Cavaliers shut out the  Red Wing Aces  6-0 Friday night with 3 pitchers combining for the shutout.  Dave Lenzen, Andrew Kline and Brady Sand each pitched 3 innings combining for eight strikeouts. Ty Fadness collected three hits and Lance Poppy drove in a pair of runs. 

Saturday the Cavaliers survived a rally by the Austin Blue Sox to earn a 6-5 victory with Ty Fadness driving in the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning with a drive to the fence in right center field. The Cavaliers ran their record to 8-7 in the WSL and 15-10 overall. 

Monday the Cavaliers Doubleheader with Sparta at Sparta was rained out.  The Cavaliers return to action Saturday July 10 with a Doubleheader against the Westmont Red Sox in a WSL-Illinois League Challenge starting at 1:00 PM at Osseo.  Sunday July 11 the Cavaliers continue the challenge with another Doubleheader with Westmont starting at 12:00 PM at Osseo. 

Monday July 12 the Cavaliers take on the East Side Merchants and it is WYSP Night in a single game starting at 7:30 PM. Thursday July 15 the Cavaliers face the Rochester Royals on Epilepsy Foundation Night starting at 7:30 PM with Doc and The Interns playing at 6:30 PM 

The Cavaliers then travel to Oshkosh for a WSL Doubleheader on Saturday July 17 starting at 5:00PM.  Sunday the Cavaliers play another WSL Doubleheader with Oshkosh starting at 12:00 PM.

The Cavaliers will celebrate their 40th Season on July 30th and July 31st with a Reunion Weekend.  The Cavaliers play a single game with the Sparta Millers on Friday July 30th at 7:30 PM and a single game with Hastings, MN Saturday July 31st at 1:00PM. The Cavaliers will have a Reunion Banquet at the Plaza Hotel and Suites with cocktails at 6:00 and dinner at 7:00 with a program to follow and please welcome back our former players, former managers, coaches, board members, batboys and batgirls. The cost of the banquet is $20.00 for a single and $37.00 for a couple and kids age 10 and under $9.00. Please send your checks to Eau Claire Cavaliers P.O.
