It took the Eau Claire Cavaliers 12 innings to score but they broke out the bats and scored 7 runs in the top of the 12th inning to beat the Winona Chiefs 7-0.  Brent Mueller pitched the final 5 innings to earn the victory after Yoshi Machida pitched seven scoreless innings.  Ben Sebeasta capped off the inning with a 3 run home run, a blast into deep left centerfield to ice the win.

Saturday July 18th the Cavaliers split with the Oshkosh Giants winning the first game 6-5 and losing the nightcap 5-4 in 12 innings. In the first game the Oshkosh Giants kept fighting but the Eau Claire Cavaliers would not be denied.

Soya Aoki’s sacrifice fly scored new Cavalier Tanner Vavra with the game- winning run as the Cavaliers beat the Oshkosh Giants 6-5 in game one of the Wisconsin State League doubleheader Saturday night at Carson Park. Oshkosh beat the Cavaliers 5-4, in 12 innings in the nightcap.

On Sunday the Cavaliers split another doubleheader with the Oshkosh Giants losing the first game 7-1 and winning the nightcap 8-2.

Troy Peiffer was the losing pitcher in game one and Phil Isaksson was the winner in game two. In game one the Giants jumped out to a 4-0 lead and never looked back.
 

In the second game the Giants led 2-1 entering the bottom of the sixth and the Cavaliers scored 7 runs to take the lead and Phil Isakkson pitched a complete game victory. Isaksson allowed 6 hits, walked 3, and struck out 4 to improve his record to 4-1.

The Cavaliers face Coon Valley/Chaseburg in a 7:30 single game July 21st; game time is 7:30, which is Big Brother-Big Sisters Night with Bob Gallaher News Channel 13 Sports Broadcaster as the celebrity manager for the Cavaliers.

Friday July 24th the Cavaliers face the Plover Tetradactyl’s at 7:30PM for a single game.

Saturday July 25th the Cavaliers entertain the Addison Braves from Addison, Illinois in a 6:00PM Wisconsin State League doubleheader and again on Sunday July 26th the Cavaliers face the Braves in a 1:00PM doubleheader.

Tuesday July 28th the Cavaliers face a split team between the Latin All Stars and the USA Military traveling All Star team with the pre-game program starting at 6:00 PM and one nine inning game starting at 6:30PM.  Please come and thank the military for their courage in protecting our country and making it such a safe place to live and raise our families.
